It’s only a number of weeks until Marvellous Festival descends on the beautiful Dinton Pastures Country Park. And, If you haven’t got your tickets yet, they are selling fast, so be quick!
After relocating there from Wellington Country Park last year, the new venue gives festival goers plenty more space all round – with a much larger provision for camping and glamping too. In fact, the glamping park is almost twice the size it was at Welly due to its popularity! Who says camping has to be all mud and wellies! Sandals and showers for us please if you don’t mind 🙂
This year, Marvellous Festival takes place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July and all of the acts taking to the main stage over the course of the weekend are world class tributes to some of the greatest artistes and bands of our time. With a stunning line up of some 14 acts on the main stage, featuring the music Queen, Adele, Motown, Coldplay, Elton John, Madness, Phil Collins, Fleetwood Mac, James Brown, Abba, Foo Fighters, Take That, The Beatles & Bryan Adams.
As usual, there will be tons of activities to keep the whole family occupied. With usual favourites: The Big Kids’ Village, fairground rides, face painting, dance workshops, bouncy castles, obstacle courses, full bar facilities and lots of fabulous food stalls. This year, family favourites, Happy’s Circus will be putting up their Big Top and entertaining Festival-goers throughout the festival too!

The team behind Marvellous are fiercely proud of the festival’s well-earned reputation as being the most family-friendly event in the region. Apart from the action on the main stage, there will also be a second stage which will see local acts performing to the crowds. There’s loads of stuff for the kids too, including face-painting, drama & dance workshops, bouncy castles, balloon modelling (like you’ve never seen before) and circus skills workshops. You can also enjoy all the fun of the fair with several major rides to choose from as well as some gentler rides for the younger audience. Festival-goers can choose to come on either day, or go the whole hog and purchase a weekender ticket, pitch a tent and set up camp (or glamp!) Tickets & full details of the line up – including a short video of last year’s event are available at www.marvellousfestivals.com along with all the information you need to ensure you have an amazing time this year.
